Barnard & Levit Optometrists was the first optometry practice in the UK to have a Colorimeter and still today remains at the forefront of the field. We have both the Mk1 and the Mk3 Intuitive Colorimeters in addition to the latest computerised Visual Stress testing and screening to ensure only appropriate candidates receive precision coloured lenses. Our practitioners prioritise keeping up to date with research and continuing education with the aim of providing highest quality care for each patient.
Dr Simon Barnard is Director of Ocular Medicine at the Institute of Optometry, London and is a Visiting Associate Professor at Hadassah College, Jerusalem where he is responsible for various Masters degree clinical courses including Paediatric Optometry and the Visual Correlates of Dyslexia. Formerly Director of Paediatric Clinics at City University, Dr Barnard is the co-editor of Pediatric Eye Care published by Blackwell Science.
Mr Alex Levit is one of only a handful of practitioners who has a Fellowship in Contact lenses in Children’s Visual Problems and one of the only UK practitioners to provide MKH refraction.
